1. Products & Services Offered

Macedon Gas supplies:

• LPG Cylinders (e.g., 45kg) and bulk LPG
• Industrial Gases – Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Acetylene, CO₂, and blends
• Hospitality Gases – Beer gas mixes, CO₂ for soda systems, etc.
• Cylinder Rentals & Service Charges
• Gas installation support (through licensed professionals only)

2. Cylinder Ownership, Rental & Service Charge

You may:

• Buy cylinders outright — you own them fully with no ongoing fees.
• Rent cylinders — a fixed rental fee applies; cylinders remain Macedon Gas property.
• Use cylinders under a service charge model — includes delivery, safety checks, and swaps.

Customers using rented or service-charge cylinders must:

• Keep cylinders accessible and safe
• Return them upon termination of agreement
• Avoid damage or misuse

Damaged or lost cylinders will incur replacement charges.

3. Cylinder Deposits

For certain cylinders (especially for hospitality/industrial use), we collect a refundable deposit.

To claim a refund:

• The customer must return the cylinder to our yard at 12 Longtan Ave, Sunbury VIC
• The cylinder must be in undamaged, safe, and reusable condition

No refund will be issued for:

• Cylinders with rust, damage, missing parts, or tampered valves
• Cylinders returned outside the agreed return timeframe (if any)

4. Delivery Terms

• We deliver LPG and gas cylinders across Melbourne Metro and selected regional areas.
• Free delivery applies to orders of two or more LPG cylinders unless otherwise stated.
• Industrial and hospitality gas deliveries are made by scheduled run or appointment.

Customer responsibilities:

• Ensure safe site access
• Provide clear delivery instructions
• Store gas in accordance with safety standards

5. Service Charges

For customers on a service charge model, this fee covers:

• Regular safety inspections
• Scheduled deliveries/swaps
• Cylinder upkeep and asset management

Late or non-payment may result in suspended deliveries or retrieval of equipment.

6. Returns & Refunds

Due to safety regulations, gas products cannot be returned or refunded once delivered, except when:

• Delivery was incorrect
• A cylinder fault is confirmed

All refund claims must be lodged within 48 hours of delivery.

7. Liability & Safety

• Macedon Gas accepts no liability for property damage or loss caused by customer misuse or installation errors.
• Customers must ensure compliance with all relevant gas safety regulations and WorkSafe Victoria guidelines.
