Buy a New Cylinder — Want to own your bottle outright? Purchase a new 45kg LPG cylinder delivered full and ready to connect. You own the bottle, and future swaps cost less because you only pay for gas.

Rent a Cylinder — Prefer not to buy? Rent a 45kg bottle from us. You pay a small annual rental fee and swap for a full bottle whenever you need one. Ideal for holiday homes and weekenders around Macedon and Riddells Creek.

What Can You Use a 45kg LPG Bottle For?

Hot water systems — instantaneous and storage hot water units that run on LPG. A single 45kg bottle typically lasts 4 to 8 weeks for a household of two to four people.

Gas heating — ducted heating, gas log fires and space heaters. During winter in the Macedon Ranges, households heating with LPG may use a bottle every 2 to 4 weeks depending on the size of the home and elevation.

Not Sure if 45kg Is Right for Your Property?

Most homes in the Macedon Ranges use 45kg cylinders because they last longer and cost less per kilogram of gas. If you only need gas for a BBQ or a single portable appliance, an 8.5kg BBQ gas bottle may be more suitable.

Do I need to own the bottle?

No. You can buy, rent or swap — whichever suits you. If you already own a compliant 45kg cylinder, we can swap it. If not, you can purchase or rent one from us.

Can you swap my existing bottle from another supplier?

Usually yes, as long as the cylinder is customer-owned and in compliant condition. Check with us first if you are unsure.

What happens on delivery day?

We deliver a full 45kg bottle and collect your empty. You do not need to be home — just make sure the cylinder is accessible and the area around it is clear.

Will my regulator fit?

Yes. Our LPG cylinders use standard Australian fittings and are compatible with standard LPG regulators. If your regulator is older than 10 years, it will need replacing — read our regulator guide for more detail.

How do I know if I need 45kg or 210kg?
